This little birdie just kept yak-yak-yaking away at me as I sat in the cockpit of our sailboat. Chirp-Chirp-Chirp over and over. What was he trying to say to me? I’d sure like to know.
He was very insistent and sure of himself–if only I could speak and understand swallow! He buzzed in and out, under docks, over boats and through life lines. And now he perched on one of our dock lines confident and impervious to human voices or activities of the Memorial Day weekend. Today was like any other day of the week to him and his clan. Since I didn’t speak his language, he flew off in exasperation.
