I enjoyed reading an article by Mary Pierce, entitled Talking Turkey. Thanksgiving really is a time about bonding and family time–not so much about the food and whether or not it’s tastyor burned.
I seem to remember a sister cooking her original turkey with inside bag intact! And another sister baking sweet potatoes with a very generous amount of mint. But, of course, I wouldn’t think of mentioning any names…We love you, my dear sisters!
Having an “attitude of gratitude” is really what it’s all about!
