Steve and I experienced a delightful 35th wedding anniversary celebration at Reds on the River in Rockford. Everyone who waited on us knew it was our anniversary…from the hostess, to the waitress, on down to the cook! (might have to do with the fact that Steve reserved on-line and noted it was our anniversary).
For dessert (bottom photo), we were served a sorbet setting on a fancy plate with the words “Happy 35th Anniversary” drizzled in chocolate! yum-yum. Doesn’t get much better than that, folks! Before (and after) dinner, we walked along the boardwalk and dam in downtown Rockford (see photo by blooming flowers).
