“I went to church and when I came back, I had a baby brother!” said my almost 5-year old granddaughter, Liberty.
“Wow, that’s pretty cool! What do you think of your new baby brother?”
“I like him!”
“So, you’re not going to send him back?”
“Nana—he came from Mommy’s tummy!”
I hear her nearly three-year old brother, Elijah, in the background zooming his fire engine. At this point in time, he appears non-committal on the subject matter. I’ll report more later after I’m able to interview him face-to-face.
